Road Trip!

I was in Warrensburg, Missouri this last weekend to be part of a show called “The Apostles” at a new gallery in town, Pieces 109.  Not only was I able to be a part of this show, but I was also able to help set up the new space which will serve as the town’s only gallery outside of the University in town.  This is monumental for the artists of this town who previously had no other way to display and get their works to the public in recent times.  Not only has a building been transformed, but a community has been developed aimed towards progressing and bettering thier local society.  It brought me back to remembering some important things about art which maybe I’d forgotten, and was a fine display of the abilities we all have to shape our city.  To Evan and Erin, all the best for the future of the gallery.

Hey everybody,  I added a new art pieces page to show some of my art that I’ve recently done.  Most of what you’ll see is that which was displayed in the april show at C.R.E.A.M.  So, if you missed the show you can still check it all out.  Most everything still has an edition or two of it left so email me (sikorski@adamsikorki.com) if there is something you’d like, it is all very affordable and ready to ship and hang.

Dinosaur time!

Because I remembered how much I’ve always loved dinosaurs, the new dino pattern tees are done and ready to look awesome all over your body.  These make me feel really good inside, so don’t go spilling your popsicle all over em.

Remember phones?  i mean ones with cords.  if you’re under fifteen maybe you’re like “what the hell is that thing?”  When I realized a corded telephone was retro, i had to do something about it.  And I wanted to make something nothing like shirts I’ve been seeing.  Comes in white or seafoam, enjoy.

to everyone who came out to the art opening, player four square, drank keg beer and jug wine, bought pieces, brought their friends, got a bit rowdy, joked around, and had an all around good time.  You helped make it amazing.  If you couldn’t make it, the show hangs for the month of April, (through my birfday!).  So go grab a scone and a cup of something warm and check it out.  Oh, and it’s a real good show to take a piece home from from I’d have to say.  New shirts are in the works.
